John Swoyer of Orthologix Earns NEURO-IFRAH Certification

PHILADELPHIA, PA- John Swoyer, CPO and principal of Orthologix, LLC, has earned NEURO-IFRAH^® certification from the NEURO-IFRAH Organization of La Jolla, California. Swoyer has been trained in NEURO-IFRAH's approach to orthotics for patients who have difficulties with movement after stroke or brain injury.  Currently, Swoyer is one of four licensed orthotists who are NEURO-IFRAH certified in the United States.

Neuro-Integrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation (NEURO-IFRAH) is a whole person approach to rehabilitation and habilitation. The NEURO-IFRAH Organization's mission is to provide the highest quality education to rehabilitation professionals to serve individuals with Adult Hemiplegia from a stroke or brain injury. This whole person assessment, treatment planning, treatment, and management is intended to resolve identified impairments and restore function for a return to independent living and the resumption/assumption of life roles.

A graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Swoyer completed his post-graduate work in prosthetics and orthotics at New York University. He has more than thirty years of experience in the field.  He is also certified to fabricate N E bracing and is MAS socket and C-leg certified in prosthetics.
